Teleport’s 2020 Horror Short Story Contest

We’re now accepting submissions for Teleport’s 2020 Horror Short Story Contest.  There’s no theme for this contest.  Throw in some suspense, watch your run-on sentences and plot holes.  Although we don’t wish to limit anyone’s creativity, no threats against other people.  Use good judgment.  There’s a $2 entry fee, which you need to submit with your story.  The fee can be paid to paypal.me/coffeant/

 

Rules:

  • Minimum 2000 words.  Maximum 5700 words.
  • No previously published work, stories must be original and for the contest.
  • Please, no fan fiction.
  • Only one submission per author
  • The contest opens June 5th and closes October 15th midnight.
  •  Please submit a Word Doc. of your story to coffeeant1@gmail.com. Include your name, address and the number of words in your story. Indicate that your story is for Teleport’s 2020 Horror Short Story Contest.

 

Prizes:

  • First Prize: $300.00
  • Second Prize: $200.00
  • Third Prize: $100.00

The prizes will be paid out through PayPal.  Winners will be announced on Halloween October 31st.
